FAQ - Early Access Locker Event
When is the Early Locker Access Event?
For the 26/27 school year, this event will be held on Thursday, July 30th from 9am to 1pm.
Do I need to join PTSO?
Membership in the PTSO is completely voluntary, but the Early Access Locker Event is only available to PTSO members. You will need to log in (or create an account if you are a new user) and Join PTSO!
Does my membership obligate me to volunteer?
No. We will have various volunteer opportunities throughout the year (find these by reading your weekly Navigating the River newsletter), but volunteering is completely optional. Your membership fee is simply a tax deductible donation to a 501(c)3 organization. All funds raised stay at Riverwatch and go directly back to benefit Riverwatch students and teachers.
How do I get access to the Early Access Locker Event?
You will need join the PTSO on this website AND purchase your locker on SchoolPay, both available starting 7/16/2026.
What is the total cost to attend the early access locker event?
You will need to pay for your $30 PTSO membership (on the PTSO website starting 7/16/2026), as well as $25 for your locker/Panther Pack (on SchoolPay starting 7/16/2026).
I have multiple students at Riverwatch Middle School - do I need a PTSO membership for each student?
No, one PTSO membership is good for all Riverwatch students living at the same address. However, you will need to a purchase a Panther Pack for each individual student. For example, a family with a 6th grader and an 8th grader will need to purchase one PTSO membership and two Panther Packs.
How do I select my time slot for the Early Access Locker Event?
After paying your PTSO membership fee you will have access on the website to sign up to select your time slot. Please be sure to sign up on the correct sign up grade list – there will be one for each grade level. Time slots are 30 minutes each and will available starting at 9am through 1pm.
What if I show up before the time slot I signed up for?
You will be asked to wait until your time slot is called. People who show up early will not be allowed to enter and select their locker prior to their registered time slot.
What do I need to bring to prove I paid for my PTSO membership and locker?
PTSO and school staff will have lists of all paid memberships and locker payments made through 7/26/25. If you purchase your locker after 7/26, we will have a separate table to look up and confirm your PTSO membership and locker payment. You will experience a faster check in process if you have paid for both items prior to 7/27/25.
Where do I sign up for a time slot for my student to pick their locker?
When you register for PTSO, you will receive an email receipt with a link to the sign up. Check your spam box if you do not see the email. Alternatively, you can also go to My Accounts, select My Forms and Paperwork, and scroll down to Volunteer Opportunities and select Locker Signup 2026/2027. This is NOT a sign up to volunteer, that is simply a name designation from the website platform.
I will be out of town and not able to attend the locker event - can I still get my locker early?
If you provide proof of registration/payment for your PTSO membership and locker payment, you may have a friend or neighbor select your locker for you.
